Rail Baltica

During the construction works of Rail Baltica Riga Central Station, the builders have discovered asbestos remnants during the transfer of engineering communications networks. Hazardous material has been collected and taken to a landfill for hazardous waste, subject to all safety precautions. These works required an additional working week.

In the first stage of Rail Baltica Riga Central Unit works, engineering communications will be transferred, a new transformer station will be built, as well as preparations for platforms – reconstruction of signaling, cable and switches, as well as demolition of some underground structures.
